Well as it turned out, Jeff and I ran up to Lima together. Neither one of us had a tach or a speedometer but managed the trip without having to donate to the state highway fund.
Didn't take too many pictures this year as I think Madonna and I both spent a good portion of our time visiting with friends and I spent a lot of the time watching the vintage racers.
There was a rogue Merc that wasn't in the Merc Corral. I looked for Jim in there but heard he was parked to the southwest of the corral. He either left before my tired and sore feet got me back that way or I just didn't see hime.

I think these are Chrysler rear quarters on a 56 Merc

I thought I'd sneek a colored picture of my Merc in. I think Jeff and I did extremely well in a week's time with tractor paint in the dark, Oh yeah, we chopped it and made it a two door, and added 54 tail lights and a Pontiac rear bumper. (LOL)

This is one of the neatest. I think it's an Olds with some sort of Ford chrome on upside down and backwards. This is a good example of why I like customs, there's no rules and when you get done, if it's done right, you have trouble figuring out what it is. I'm not sure what this car is but I've seen it all over and just love it.

I spent a good portion of the day trackside. I sat right up close co I could get a good wiff of the alcohol.

Here is a shot of the grounds at sun up this morning. It was pertty cool camping last nite. We went back in the trees to pitch a tent and it was really comfy. I always think these meets look neat real early in the morning as the first of the power parkers arrive.
