Thinking about letting go of my 66 chevy truck. Was wanting to keep it but I've dug a whole with my cadillac and it keeps getting bigger. This truck is on the back burner and from what I found out today, the truck may be there for a little bit. As of right now its setting outside which kills me. Long bed stepside with the factory 6cyl. I pulled that engine because it had a blowed head gasket. Truck did run. I was going to put a V8 in. Radiator looks fairly new. I installed new brake shoes, wheel cylinders and front wheel bearings. Drums have been turned. Bought a new gas tank but need a sending unit.

I forgot to mention that I have a complete front suspension, gear box and power steering pump from a 76 chevy truck. This goes with the truck.

Added a low mileage 350 4 bolt main and gasket set. New clutch and pressure place. All bolted in the truck. Needs radiator belts and a few small things.

What kind of spider was it? I sure have been hearing a lot about crazy snakes and spiders the last little bit. I killed a brown recluse a few weeks ago in the house. The Yopp's down in Ky had their youngest bit by a rattler not long ago, scary stuff. Even the news has a black bear that is really close to us roaming around. They think it crossed the Ohio river from Ky. The animal are fed up with us and taking over. Smile

Its was a small light brown spider. Don't think it was a brown recluse. Looked it up and I think its an American House Spider. Bite sight has turned purple and swelled some. I have a red rash all over me. Just started on steroid pills. Been on antibiotics also. Can't work outside due to the sun reacting with my skin. Feels like I have shingles.

I can't get out in the sun or heat without having these stinging attacks. Feels like I'm being stuck with a bunch on needles in clusters on my body. Guess it feels like shingles. As soon as I get out of the heat or sun, they stop.

Finally got over the spider bite. The last doctor I went to thinks it was a brown recluse. I have a guy wanting the 6cylinder out of the truck. Would anyone be interested in the truck without the 350 V8. Cadillac is almost back together and I'll have to swap spaces with the truck.

Wish I had the extra, my wife would love to have it. How much without the 350? I'll spread the word

Gas tank is in. Cadiilac is back going and I need to store it where this truck is and I hate to see this sitting outside. $1900 for anyone here on the scroungers website.

Looks like the truck is sold. I still have the factory 250 6 cylinder engine if anyone is interested in it.
