I know you said these were old pics. Is there stuff still left like this in the yards over there? Sad to say but most old stuff over here were crushed and shipped off.

Hi Reb yes you can still find cars here in that condition also scattered in rural area's.

No place on earth better than a junkyard full of old iron. Brings back memories- spent the first 8 years of my life growing up in a junkyard. Don't remember all those years, but the one's I do remember were a blast! That was pre '71,so it was all old stuff, say from the late fifties to the mid thirties. My first bicycle came out of the yard.... it had hard rubber 12 inch tires on it. And I thought I had the world by the a$$, but I couldn't keep up with my brother and sister on their "banana bikes". Those were the days.

NY regs made the yard go away.... ain't prosperity great?
