2013 River Run Saturday July 27th

It is JULY and time the Scroungers River Run, this is a cruise where we start in OH travel up Kellog Ave along the Ohio River, ferry across Into Agusta KY then up Route 8 back into the Newport area making several stops along the way..

We will be meeting at 11:30 AM in the parking lot of AJ's Roadhouse located at: 6735 Kellogg Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45230. We will be leaving there at 12 noon sharp, so please be gassed up and ready to go.

Tons of stuff planned on the Ohio side of the river before getting back into Ky. Amish Village, The antique barn we stopped at on our Rt. 32 run.

This cruise joins our River Run with our Rt. 32 run. Lots of stuff going on that day. Don't miss this one.

Dang it, I'm obligated to a parade that day and later setting up a table at a car show to promote Hoodlums in The Holler. I wish I could make it.

I have a wedding to attend that day.

It will be an full day of fun!! Sorry John and Greg maybe next time.

Any way i can meet someone to get a few of these? My mom said i can put some out at her bank(already put some of the scroungers business cards up) Could also put some up at work.
Edit: Never mind i just remembered i can print some out at a friends

Got some flyers printed out the other day. Pep boys let me leave one for display (lack of room), Hung some up at the bank my mom works at along with some cards and also going to hang one up at work tonight. Last week i might have recruited another monte carlo owner i work with to come. We shall see!

Yep! Depending on weather and heat will determine what we will be driving. The better half is coming with me ,and she don't like Hot!

A lot of the club members have sit idle this year. I hope to see a good group on Saturday. Drag a friend and lets put some miles on the tires.

What time do you typically arrive back in Northern Kentucky? Since they are calling for rain, I can't work in hay at the farm. Therefore, I may tag along, but I have a wedding at 5:30 that I need to attend.

Not sure Greg. It was late the last time and we have an extra stop planned this time.  If it starts running late you could always ditch the cruise and turn around to make it back in time. It would be nice to have you if you can make it.

Been following the rain pretty closely, now they are saying that it looks like it'll be early morning rain. Then it should push out before noon!  I was pretty excited to hear that. Plus mid to upper 70's to boot. Going to be an awesome day.

We are going to try and make this one!  We have never made a Scroungers ride yet, tried a couple of times, but something always gets in the way.......Hope the weather hold out (no top for the car)
