Just for Fun Question
Just for fun, what was your first car/truck and what's the first "custom" thing you did to it?
I guess, since I'm asking the question, I should go first. My first car was a 1978 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham. The first "custom" thing that I did to it was remove the AM/FM radio and install an AM/FM 8-Track. Big time customizing!

Re: Just for Fun Question
1964 VW Beetle. Did not do a thing to it as I bought it before I had my license.
Next up was my '72 Super Beetle. I popped all of the studs out of the tires (this was back home in Alaska).
After this was a standard '74 VW Beetle (see a theme here?) and I added speakers, a head unit and popped in a set of tinted rear side windows.
Later,
Lee

Re: Just for Fun Question
'66 F-100 long bed. It was a ugly green work truck at my dad's shop. Had a rod hanging out the side of the old 352. Pulled a 390, 4bbl out of a Galaxie and dropped in it. Promptly twisted the u-joint out of the differential. The yoke was wallowed out from running a bad joint for who knows how long. Found a 3.73 limited slip out of a mail truck and stuck it in. Still had to put a piece of steel plate in the back to get it to hook.

67 Dodge Dart GT I had when I was 14. I put in an after market steering wheel in it. I didn't have a puller. I put my legs up on it pulling while my left hand was on top pulling then I smacked the stud with a hammer until it popped off, smacking me in the face. HARD!
