Re: Quaker Steak & Lube
Hopefully the food and cruise-in are better than Milford's. I refuse to go to Milford for either after the last experience.

Come on up. The house market is wide open. Just bring a thick coat! It gets cold in the winter.

Wasn't happy the last time I was there. The waitress was overwhelmed with 14 people and no one to help. Other than that the food I enjoyed and the atmosphere.

I was in that group too.... and agree with puddin' head. I have to mention that after going online and filling out a survey/complaint form the General Manager did contact me and came through with a BUNCH of free meal cards for the Falcon Club to give away as door prizes at our Pumpkin Run Mini Meet. So the Milford location is aware and trying to improve.

Re: Quaker Steak & Lube
Ate at the Milford one after the Labor Of Love show in August. Seven in our group and five of us had meal cards. The food was ok, the service wasn't horrible but as others have said the little waitress seemed to have alot on her plate (excuse the pun)

Re: Quaker Steak & Lube
I've been there twice after work and got good service... But that could be because I was in my Corporate Chef uniform.

I'd say QS&L. They have a hustling atmosphere with way too many TVs playing.
Re: Quaker Steak & Lube
So heres the deal. I was at opening night. I talked to a manager BOB last name started with a M anywho.... I told him about how there was already an established cruise on sundays less than a mile from there( Florence)
I also mentioned that I was a National VP of a car club and that as an advid cruiser there are no nky cruises on weds and they didn't have Wed night designated sooooo maybe they could change it up...I just hate to see another hometown business go under because of a chain. Fillmore's doesn't have the greatest food but they do rely on the Sunday cruisers to keep the buisness going. I also know that Randy and I are usually the only scroungers there but, Fillmore's was the first cruise in I ever went to 14 years ago. Then really where Randy and I met (Eww MUSHY) so it holds a special place in my heart. On top of that I am not saying that I wouldn't go back to The Lube but it wouldn't be my first pick for a summer sunday.. that being said their parking lot is not very big... so with a regular crowd plus a cruise crowd it would be over stuffed. Those are just my thoughts.....

Anytime you cannot read something because it is too dark, just go over it with your cursor and highlight it.
