lol . kool deal. that would be My junk, Paul and I are scratching the ground wed night , headed to Ga to hand off and pick up a truck then headed across to rumble. be there thursday night sometime . I got a couple signs to hand off to you too. 1 I had Made for you .

I was getting some questions on the shows cost. I sent and email and this was what was said.

$25.00 to show a car includes driver. $15.00 per person admission other than car driver. If not camping.

If Camping it is $35.00 for car and driver, $25.00 per person and includes admission.

kids 12 and under are free.

James can't make it up. I hear Paul is still coming up. Randy and heather are not going to be able to make it. After some thought I'm going to hold off on going down. The truck is down for a few days and I couldn't get the stuff done to it this week that I needed to.

ya now we can save up... the price of the show is what got is. plus gas. just cant shell it out like we used to. maybe we should build a hybrid hot rod,,NOT!

I really wanted to go but things happen sometimes. I guess we'll have to save some gas money and head down to Louisiana to visit you guys.. We can make some pit stops to Georgia, Florida, Minnesota, etc...

What I normally do is throw change in a jug for shows... I cashed it in yesterday at the bank and it was 1,569 dollars . Coarse I went at 4:00 and they looked at me kinda funny lol. Save the change that way ya ain't gotta pull out of ya pocket

i didnt know minnesota was south..... thats hella nutz

You know how our trips go. We will hit them all in a day and be back for brunch tomorrow

I know it's not south but we have a few states to visit just to say we've been there. The other states are going to be must visits! @James. That's not a bad idea.

Was just looking at some pictures of this. Looked like a really good time. I liked the pics of the roadster wih the Indy 4 cam Ford motor. I'd like to here that thing run. Back in the late 60's they ruled at the Speedway.

I got some pics of that roadster also when I get them downloaded to my computer I'll get some up.... And yes it sounded sweet

It appeared that there were quite a few people there and that the weather seemed to co-operate. Any idea how many cars were there? Just trying to get a feel to see if it's something I might try to attend in the next couple of years. I know people that drive a good distance to attend the Road Rocket Rumble over in Indy. I saw a few pictures of some of the Road Rockets' cars there. I heard that it's about seven hours from here so it would have to be a pretty good time to warrant spending the gas money on driving that far, plus that's a long drive ti strike out solo in an old beat up Mercury. Did the Hot Rod Reunion a couple of times in it with a any problems and that was around 5 or 6 hours. That one was well worth it.

I sure would have liked to seen that little Indy motor though. I saw some place that it was from Louisville or something like that.
