One of these days I'd like to make the Voodoo Hoodoo in Bowling Green. Always too close to the Rumble to do both. May work out better for my marriage since I alwsys insist on tbe RR that always falls on my anniversary!

Your Redneck Rumble falls on the same weekend as the Rebel Run up here.  It's an old established show but going thru some problems/changes.  Next year I should have an old flamethrower to drive and might be able to make the trip if things work out right.  The weekend after that is the Ducktail in Gas City.  I really have trouble missing that one.  Next year if I could hook up with somebody up here to make the trip, I'd be more than interested.  I haven't done much this year partly because of funds and also because the desire just isn't there.  I might go to the Rebel Run up here this year but it may be the last past. This summer I've had more fun going to going to the races than car events.  I'm leaving early Wednesday AM to the races in Indy for about 6 days.  The Voodoo Hoodoo falls pretty close to the Iron Invasion and I want to try that out this fall.

I talked to a guy who went to the VooDoo show in BG the last couple of years. He said he wasn't impressed at the 2012 show and probably won't make it this year. I've never been myself. I might go to the redneck rumble. Might drive the caddy if its back on the road.

I have been wanting to go but I don't have anything to drive to get in. My Trans Am is too new and my 49 is waiting for an engine.

Come on anyway! Call and ill pick you up at the gate. You have to stay late or all night on Saturday to get the full effect! Ill be cooking all weekend, so anybody coming out needs to come find me!

What about the F100? Last year there were several C10s that were obviously 69-72's, and a handfull of mid 70's Fords

Got called in to work yesterday and didn't get home till late. 

I went. It was good, but just didnt seem as good as years past. Mainly the swap meet. Mybe I was just bummed out to begin with!

You had a ton of stuff to deal with. Hard to have fun when crazy stuff is going on. Car shows are not as good as they use to be anyway. I think the economy has kept a lot of people away. no one can afford to get out and do much and don't get me started on the price of gas.

Most of the events I've been to lately seem to be suffering except the Ducktail Run.  Junkyard Jeff and I spent Friday and Saturday there.  They had more cars than they knew what to do with.  We were walking thru the huge crowd yesterday talking about car counts dropping off at places but that place seems to get more cars year after year.  They had well over 2700 cars Saturday @ noon with more streaming in all afternoon.  It was a good thing Madonna and I camped on the grounds so we could take the tent down giving Jeff a place to stuff his '55.  I figure the Pumpkin Run will be about the same.
