Scroungers River Run

Howdy,

Is this event open to non-club members? I'm part of a SW Ohio Camaro group and there are some of us that would like to join. All of us have the 5th gen Camaros, but one said he would drive his '87 Camaro and another would drive his '76.

All of our runs are open to everyone. We can't stress that enough. No matter who they are or what they drive. It's all about having a good time.

Would love to go. I've got a wedding to go to that evening. If we were leaving in the morning I'd be in. Hope to see some great pics!

I'm soooo jealous. It's obvious you guys love these runs and I'm so far from being there.

Hopefully this miserable weather breaks before this run! I have intentions of taking the Stylemaster, but I don't know how this fat boy will survive with this kind of heat.

In lieu of Carota's Pizza, I believe that Janet and I are going to try Augusta General Store for dinner in Augusta. It is owned by James Shepard and his wife (fellow gearhead, Bahama Blue '63 Impala). I personally have not eaten there, but I have heard good things. Plus, the idea of supporting a fellow gearhead and his family during an event of this type just sounds logical.

Also, depending on time, Janet and I are considering ending the evening at the Butler Lions Club Classic Car Show/Cruise-In that is from 5-8 pm if anyone is interested.

The pizza place is a little small for everyone to cram into. I'm game to eat at any place down there. Everyone doesn't have to eat at the same place or eat at all. There are a few shops for anyone that wants to just window shop or check out the town.

3 more days! I'm looking forwards to this run.

His kid told Sami they were going to WV this weekend. Then she told her they were moving to the country with that new girlfriend he has. I guess he's in love and moving away. I haven't heard anything from him since he got this new one. I guess you will be his best man at the wedding here soon.

It sure was nice to get some rain this morning, being my yard was looking somewhat yellow. I welcomed the thunderstorms as long as it brought the temps down. I believe it will be short lived, being the temps will shoot back up into the 90's by 3PM according to the weather report. Although I have A/C, I don't plan on using it! See you in 10 hrs...
