Got them all right but the 52 and 54 merc gave me a little problem since I can only tell them apart by the tail lights,I guessed them by the hubcaps since the 54s were similar to a 55.

100% Sleep

The Mercs are a little hard to tell, but the '54 also has more trim...

The Chicken Hawk was destroyed about two summers ago at Muncie Dragway. Ted used to drive that to and from the race track over at IRP when we all first started going there. He raced that thing well over forty years.

That was a shame! I remember reading that he went back and thanked the guy that put the cage in it for him years ago. It done it's job for sure. He was pretty old to take a crash like that and come out of it in one piece. That crash took out a piece of history when it came to the car too.

I got 100% right also but I agree with you about the '52 and '54 Mercs. I figured it out because the '54 pictured had an insignia on it's front fender that looks just like the one on the '55 Merc. Made sense to me at least and it worked! The De Soto and Lincoln hood ornaments were a little tough too...

My original ride home from the hospital way back when was in a '53 merc, go figure. It had the "Dolly Parton" front bumper on it but it didn't really help. I guessed and guessed wrong. The Chrysler Desoto thing killed me too. 85% by the way.
