I finally got the garage cleaned out. I put that little boat on top of the car the last time I was on the creek about 6 months ago, I'll get it deflated and put away some day. I'd put a roof rack on the car but the raft, oars, and motor will all fit in the trunk.

Anyway, I picked up the 235 on Sunday and got the transmission off today. if I can find a key for my old drill press I'll be able to modify a home-made engine stand and get the engine up off the floor.

With any luck, I'll get the 216 out this week and I can try to grab the 3 speed, front motor mount, and bellhousing thats going on the 235. I've got the water pump adapter plate marked on ebay for when I get that far.

iI decided not to touch the engine thats sitting in the car and instead tear apart a locked up 216 I had that was with it. I spent some time in a snow suit while it was cold and pulled the front motor mount, flywheel, bellhousing, transmission and basically tore apart the junk engine.

The 235 is hanging on its stand ready for the front mount swap.

I was thinking of driving mine to FLA to work on the heater. Good idea? Think I can sell that to the Boss?
