I've about decided rust is like a tornado. You never know where it will strike but it's sure to leave a mess where ever it does.

Thought I'd post this for Jeff since I was bored and nothing to do for the moment. Last nite was one rearend out and another rearend in. It was fun (at least I thought so) to play around in the backyard for a couple of hours. We were out back at his place playing the part of real shade tree mechanics, or at least one is a mechanic and the other is a supervisor. LOL

Oh yeah Reb, I went back out to Stark's last weekend with Jeff and got that wood box type looking thiny that was in the truck that you found the First Aid box in. They wanted a grand total of $5 for it and Jeff bought. Happy birthday to me! I got it to use for a set of shelves to hang on the wall. Turns out my wife had that game as a kid and spent a lot of time playing it with her brothers and sisters about a century ago (well maybe half a century ago). Jeff's always on me about bring stupid crap like that home. Turns out I may have finally won one. I scrubbed it up and ready to put some poly on it. The thing looks about new.

I'm glad you got that game. Did you leave me the radiation box we stashed away? I may run up to Stark tomorrow or the next. I need to get a rear view mirror mount, arm rest and some smaller stuff for that 54.

Yeah, I showed the box to Jeff but there wasn't any excitment from him. Been trying to think of a use for that old box but have drawn a blank so far.

You'd have to be careful where ya put it on that thing. Half the roofs plastic and I don't think the magnet would hold too well. LOL

The parking brake adjuster broke tonight so I headed to Autozone and they cant get it so I came home and looked on LMC,40 dollars for the adjuster and 14 for the nut so its junkyard time if I cant figure out a way to fix it. I might be able to get it apart and cut down the head of a long bolt but might head back to the yard the rear end came from and get it off the donor truck.

I might be able to get one from the Texas area that has no chassis that I am thinking about modifying a crown vic chassis for to get it nice and low,the owner was going to use the chassis for a 59 f100 and now if I can find his email address to see what is going on with it.

All of mine are driveable now so I really dont have a serious project right now,I was going to pick up that one for parts for mine but since I picked up a mint tailgate if I were to get it I would think about doing a frame swap to get it nice and low. Since my last post I tried to find the guys email address and I dont have it so I doubt I will even try something like that right now but if I hear something from him I might think about it,it also depends just how far down in Texas it is.

I have been chasing a cold start problem since I first got it thinking the inoperable pump in the tank was it but even after replacing it I still have the problem and seemed to be getting worse,so today I replaced the frame mounted pump and regulator with little to no success so going to look into it a little further. I am about close to finding a carb motor and get rid of the EFI but I need to learn how to work on them so I will play with it this week and see what I can find. When I had the tank out I came close to changing it to the newer single pump system but too far into it now to turn around
