I am selling my 1953 DeSoto. It has a clear Indiana title.

When I bought the car the drive train was already gone. So no, there is no Hemi. I have cleaned up the engine bay and cleaned up the front end. The splash pan is still in great shape where the grill teeth mount.

I have removed the old brake pedal and master cylinder. I have a brake pedal and brake booster mounted from a 1990 S-10.

All glass is good. The passenger door glass does have a couple cracks, but is still solid, doesn’t leak and still goes up and down with no problem.

The previous owner left the end of the drive shaft that attaches to the rear end allowing you to get a drive shaft made pretty easy. Yes, this has a real end and was not a torque tube. This rear end was the predecessor to the Chrysler / Dodge 8 3/4 rear end.

Full boxed frame is solid from front to back. The floor has some rot but won’t be too hard to repair. Carpet and headliner have been removed.

I have an original ignition and door key. Speedo says 47,000.

Wouldn't take too much to make this a family Hot Rod.

I am asking $1500 for the car. I have a clear Indiana title. I will NOT sell the grill separate from the car at this time. I really need the whole car gone. If you only want the grill, you will need to buy the whole car. Then if you want, you can resell the car.

No delivery. You will have to figure out how to come and get the car.

Thanks for looking.
