Mine wouldn't run, it would start and idle, but as soon as you pushed on the pedal...nothing....have about 400 miles, running fine, I thought you said you were going to sell your Monte....I will sell mine, but l like driving it so if it sells, ok, if not, I don't care....the off the shelf Holley, runs a little rich, but nothing crazy...the carb send signals to the ECU and it controls the advance on the distributor and the lock up on the converter...but I am happy with the performance.....

I am planning on selling it...I would like it to run a little bit better than it does now...w/o spending a great deal of money........come spring I have a friend who is a carb expert I am going to get him to look into the junk that is on there now, if it is not worth rebuilding,the Holley might be the way to go.
