Sadly our forum is at only about 5% of the traffic that it once had. Facebook killed it. While some of us still get on here, most are gone. As long as some do it will remain. For others with their fancy cell phones that can't use this forum due to it being incompatible the Facebook page link is below. We also run a page on Facebook that is about the cars and what everyone seems to be into right now. The page has over 17,000 members and we get about 130 new ones a day. The page is run by he Scroungers and all the Admins are members of the club. Check them both out if the forum is not your thing.

As much as I hate to say it the club has to follow the main stream if it's not going to be left in the dark. Facebook is where it's at right now. We had no worried with MySpace but Facebook did us in as far as the forum goes. Sad

It is frustrating I must admit, but the ease of posting pictures on FB has been my biggest reason for using it- I have problems navigating the steps to post them here....but I've been accused of having trouble navigating a parking lot....so there you have it. Tech and me just do not get along.... I'm with ya on that, Oldman. There is one thing in this world that will never go away, or change- that is change itself. I didn't, and now an industry has passed me by.... Large vehicle computer systems are now the norm, and I didn't keep up. Our area being economically depressed took years to get into those vehicles- now they are becoming plentiful, and I didn't keep up.... Now looking at retraining. time to teach this old dog, new tricks.

...and just ignore the FB drama. People will try to make you feel like a jerk because you "must like and share this photo of my son in his hospital bed.... and type amen....or you are a bad person" Uhhh- I feel bad for your kid, but don't put this on me- not my fault. Those things used to piss me off, now I just cruise on by them with a clear conscience. I was that kid once, and nobody had me all over the internet looking for sympathy...we had family....and at that time, family got it done. A different world now.

To me its alot easier to follow builds here on the Forum. I will stay here an continue to post updates of my projects as long as it is here. Would be nice to steer some builders to the forum.

I have tried many times. It's easier for people to post a simple thing on FB now than to spend any time of the forums. The world is so fast paces no one has time to do anything or at least that is what they think. We are becoming a nation of simple minded people. Even if you post a small story on FB people won't read it. Too many words for them. I'm not kidding.

My only hangup is the picture posting- I lack the savvy to be able to do it on the forum here.... I would put all of my cars and project progress here were it not for that. Someday I may just have to call Rebstew in person and he can guide me thru it.... that, and getting the Samsung away from my wife long enough to use it to take pictures.

dieseldr I will make a simple to use post on how to post using the picture host photobucket. Its very easy now with there easy to share setup they have. I have most of my cars loaded on there. I can upload pictures from my phone directly to my photobucket with ease.

I have a photobucket account from 3-4 years ago I could never make work...but I'll give it a go. Thanks. I'll look for that post. In the meantime, I will see if I can find my photobucket- or set up a new one.
