1962 Studebaker Lark STOCK....but a Gasser Wanna be....
Now a 83,000 mile bone stock 170, 3 speed grandma car.......this is a solid old car....but slow as Sorghum in the winter....
for those that didn't know, in 65 & 66 before they shut down, they didn't have enough cash to run their own foundry, so they installed Small Block Chevrolet motors in all Studebakers.....they bolt in, with the correct frame pad which they still sell..1st I want to get the SBC installed and running and driving.......then, a straight axle installed.....I have been driving it.....

Nice ride John! I remember that model being one of the ugliest cars I ever seen in my earlier years. But today, it looks better than the new ones rolling off the assembly line. I remember at one time looking in my rear view mirror and knowing the manufacturer of the car that was rolling up on me. Today, I can't tell what they are, unless they are the newer Camaros or Mustangs.

You know mags makes any car look good :lol:I like the Studebakers now that there old.looks like a very clean car, is the sb stock?what make of axle you going to use?

Small cam.....Intake.......Headers......Holley Carby......Ford 8" going in with Straight axle....
