New crew in town.
Pending their probation period we have a new chapter coming soon in South Eastern GA. Dany has been on the forum for a while. We have been talking and with just a few word from him I knew we needed a chapter in Southern GA. Nothing I like more than to give a helping hand to a younger hot rodder that is being snubbed by the silk jacket, older guys that have so much money they look down on others. Here is a little of what Dany wrote.
Hey Steve, I have been lurking around the form for awhile and i would like to know what all i need to do to join the club, i live in south East Georgia in a small town called Waycross. I would love to start a chapter down here. We have a local car club here but they not real FRIENDLY!!!. I have been trying to talk to them and be a helping hand in our towns hot rod scene but I don't fit in with those guys. What I'm saying is that I'm a young hard working guy that doesn't come from money and I don't have a $30,000 car so I guess I'm not good enough for em....lol..They don't search junkyards for parts cause they just have money. I have never asked for any hand outs. I just want a good hot rod club for me and my buddies to enjoy. We love to work on our cars and trucks and go cruising but like I said the other club here is kinda rude and all. Not trying to be mean but I would think they would like the younger generation being into hot rods.
That is just some of what we talked about but it sounds like we need a chapter there to give the grass root hot rodders and place to hang that doesn't have to do with the silk jacket car club that is down that way now.
