Grandpa? Empty Grandpa?

Post by Reb Stew November 11th 2013, 4:21 am

My son showed up at the house tonight, with tears in his eyes he hugged me and told me I was going to be a grandpa. This will be my first grand baby. He's a nervous wreck right now. I felt bad for him because I can remember being in the same shoes he's in. I'm proud of him. I know he will make a great daddy. I have been walking around the last few hours grinning. I can't stop. I'm pretty tickled... Very Happy

Amy is already making fun of me. She was talking last night about me messing with shoes. The last few years I missed the part of my kids being babies. I would walk by the baby stuff and see little shoes and tell Amy wouldn't these be cute on our grand baby. She would just shake her head like I was nuts. I guess I get to go shopping now.

Congrats Steve! You have everything to grin about.
I'm not a grampa yet. But love the nieces and nephews.
Sending them home with a cookie in each pocket. Just spoiling them

Just a couple ideas..... Not that u need any. Laughing Laughing

Mike I like buying the noisy toys for them too. Just like the stuff my parents did for me. Like the jello in a baggy, have to try that one!
