Warner T-10 4 speed
Just got my hands on a warner gear T-10 4 speed. It came with a Ford 289, but I am inclined to think it is not a ford application T-10. The numbers on the steel tag are as follows: 3188928 followed by AS1-T10T. It appears to be a wide ratio, but for what? I will see if I can get some stamping info off it, in the meantime, maybe someone can figger out what it is.

I think you may have an AMC piece there.

Re: Warner T-10 4 speed
That's kinda what I'm thinkin'. Since it isn't a Ford piece, it will be finding a new home. Tried the ford bell on it- the front brg retainer has lots of room to wander around in the pilot of the bell. I'll check here in NY, feel free to spread the word if anyone down there has interest in it.
The 289 was from a 68 Bronco- kinda funky lookin' oil pan if I must say so.

I would love to have a Rock Crusher or Super T10 to go back in the FireChicken. I miss the 4 speed.

Tough to get rid of AMC stuff around here in NY- don't know about the midwest. Need to find a T-10 rebuilder I guess.

I haven't had the cover off yet, but I feel it should be worth $300 all day, so long as when the cover comes off there is nothing grenaded in it. Won't close a deal on it till I pull the cover. But that's what I think.

I have a T-10 from a 65 mustang that I will probably never use.
