August outing

Thorn hill drag strip and they are having a cruise in from noon to 6 then street cars vs drag cars

Sounds like a good time to me.

Two weeks is our outing to the drag strip. Who is ready to burn some rubber?

I'm pretty close to needing new tires... might as well speed up the process  Oh and ask Randy if he still wants to put a wager on me breaking into the 13's lol

We actually plan on going over early for the days events

This is the flyer... if anyone wants to meet and go down for the show we can meet you in the Meijer Parking lot on us 27 in Cold Spring/ Alexandria.. at 11:30 we will leave at noon... Steve how bout you head up the second round of racers at 5 ish? Racing starts at 6...

I was just reading the flyer.. Pricing is a little confusing for the show ..... I have an email in to Gary and a message on FB to try to get the answer....

Ill probably just be running in the test and tune... What are others planning on running in?

Extenze, i know you were talking about heading to the strip early for the cruise in. I will head up there with you guys, where would you like to meet and what time? Maybe others could chime in on who is coming early so we could cruise in together? Just spitballin ideas

If everyone else is going out early I may just meet up with Randy and go early. If not I'll just meet everyone there.

Got a couple guys that want to go. We can't go until later. Guess we'll meet up with everyone there. Wonder if they could park us all together?

Figured i would share this for you all:
"Quick rundown on prices for Saturday's event. Spectators are $10, test n tune is an extra $10 unless you get there before 3 and participate in the car show. Then its only an extra $5. Ultimate Grudge class entry is $30. $10 for the 11.50 and 12.99 class. Test n tune cars can also enter these classes (11.50 and 12.99) for no additional charge."

test tune. but hopefully they can line us up against each other.....
We are going down for the show. If you are there before three and pay 10 it is only an additional 5 for test and tune. Hope to see you all there.. we still plan on meeting at 11:30 at Meijer if anyone is interested in following us down.
