Re: Cornfield Customs Open House
Pretty cool pics. I liked the little grey primer coupe.
Was Tom Culbertson there with the wagon? I haven't seen him in quite a while. The Road Rockets are another crazy group of hardcore hot rodders.
I remember the red chopped Chevy at the VooDoo King deal from Saturday. Neat that they got an award.

Yeah Tom was there, spoke to him but haven't seen him in probably 8 years so I had to reintroduce myself. Mike Wagner AKA owner of Cornfield Customs is a big supporter of the Road Rocket Rumble.
Weldon and Phyllis the owners of the red chopped 54 Chevy are my adopted parents. They also own the orange 51 Merc that won Best Of Show at the Monmouth Street show one year.
Usually I'd have took alot more pictures, but I was too busy eating and hanging out.

That eating is pretty important..........
We used to go to the parties at Tom's Body Shop during the Goodguys when it was at IRP. That was always a good time. Lot's of old neat stuff at that shop besides all the cool people.
I know the Merc you're talking about. The Chevy is super nice but the Merc is really neat.
