Another bill out of the way!

I guess one of my more stupid moments was paying $14K for Amy Toyota. I could have built a really nice car for that kind of money. I thought she would go nuts to have a new car so I brought it home for her.

I paid it off yesterday. 7 months early. I also dropped the full coverage off it. Between not having a car payment and not paying through the nose on insurance it should be enough not to have to worry if we want to go out to a nice dinner once in a while.

Congrats! It's always nice to pay one off!

Dave Ramsey would be proud....Paid my HHR off last week, and only owe 800 on the Outback wagon....it will be done by the end of the month or so....

Dave would tell you, unless you can pay cash for a replacement, keep the full coverage. Cars cost so much these days you can't buy them out of pocket unless they are junk. Sometimes you got to have something that starts everytime.

But congrats! It's always a great feeling to get a creditor out of your life!

The 'Yota is a disposable car to me. If it gets wrecks so be it. Amy likes the little car but I've had my fill of it. It has close to 100K miles on it already. I know they run forever seems like but it's just not what I call a car.

It's nice to run around town but by the time I get out of it with anything more than 2 hours behind the wheel my back is killing me. You hear every road noise there is and it's uncomfortable. It's been a great little car but I won't buy another one.
Only way I'll get back into paying payments on a new car is if I put more than half the asking price as a down payment.
