Any 60's Ford manual transmission guys out there?
I have a gentlemen wanting to trade a ford transmission for some parts I have. Its a top loader manual trans. I'm not big on the 60's fords. More of a model ato late 40's. Here is some info he gave me. Can anyone give me any info on the trans? I've always heard of how strong the rock crusher trans were in gm vehicles.
tag is # RUG J2 and according tp the David Kee ID Chart, it's for a 390 Fairlane 1967-69, 28 rear spline, wide ratio box.

Google the tag number and see what they are selling for. It ain't cheap!
You should have no problem getting rid of it if it's not a completely used up hunk of junk....
