Scroungers Christmas Party

Okay so I know everyone is busy that time of year but we need to come up with a date! What about Dec. 8th or 15th? It'll be at the VFW on 10th street in Newport, Ky. This will be a Saturday night around 6pm. Any thoughts??

I think the CCC party is going to be the 8th. So maybe the 15th will be the better choice.

Either date. Doesn't matter.

No one goes down to the CCC gig other than us anyway.

The 8th for the Spears clan. 15th is homecoming for two of our girls.

What if we wait til after the holidays like in Jan so no one has any family or other holiday things to go to. I was thinking about this today. Usually everyone is so busy the weeks before Christmas and after I know I could use a good Scrounger Party. ..
No date is going to be perfect for everyone...

Christmas party after Christmas? We are waiting to hear from a few others on the party and then go from there.

Have to work on the 8th.

The company that I work for has their Christmas party annually the third Saturday of January. It actually works our really nice since it doesn't conflict with family and friends activities. On the other hand, if you get pulled over on the way home, the officer immediately assumes you intoxicated when you tell him that you just left a Christmas party.

Unfortunately we aren't going to be able to find that magical date that will allow us to hit everyones schedule just right so that everyones able to make it.

The last several years we have had the party on the 2nd Saturday in December. Gives us a little time past Thanksgiving and enough time before the craziest parts of December and Christmas.

So to move forward we have to pick a date.

Let's go with December 8th for this year for the Northern Kentucky/Ohio chapters. Of course anyone who wants to join is more than welcome. Open to anyone.

Not sure. They had a time limit on us the last time we used them but I don't recall what it was. Anyone remember?

We need everyone to bring some food. We all like food. Yes it was at the hall on 10th st. Address will be put up as soon as all the details are figured out.

Mike still needs to check on it to make sure we can get it on the 8th so don't make any final plans yet.
