My new Project Daily Driver
Just got this to work on and daily drive. I'm retiring Oct 31st and don't want to cook and do laundry. It's a 289/C4 with a knee knocker AC. All surface rust with one small hole on the tail gate.

Re: My new Project Daily Driver
I plan to get the body squared away, only two real rotten parts. Prep it for paint and have Maaco shoot it. Different wheels for sure, probably some Magnum 500s an that's it. Interior is pretty decent. Arm rests is about it. Some trim straightening and polishing, minor things as well as clean up the engine bay.

Glad to hear your going to change the wheels. Sure you don't want to just move it south?

Re: My new Project Daily Driver
Went to drain the stinking gas yesterday since the guage said it was full. Shoved the tube down in it and couldn't suck a lick of gas out of it. So I guess the gauge is wrong since it wouldn't start. Added 5 gallons and fired up. Got two rims and John has 2 so off to get some tires this week. As for heading south, I kinda like it here, but I will be hitting the road south to Lebanon Ky to see dad.

Why would you want to drink gasoline anyway. It tastes nasty and makes you breath smell.

Re: My new Project Daily Driver
Haven't done much in a while. I did have a problem with the gas gauge and put in a new sender, plus some wiring due to all the time I think it sat idle. Changed the wheels to Magnums thanks to John and Jim. Got them painted and new tires from Walmart and have it looking fairly decent. Just got my computers up to date and will start posting pics since I have some time on my hands. I really like this long roof. Don't know if I should leave the paint alone or do a Macco. Pics to follow soon I hope.
