1964 Buick Riveria 425 Loaded, PS, PB, AC, PW
Have been wanting one for years, When I saw Road House....that was it, 63-64 or a 65.....So I traded off the Mach 1, it has had some work done, but this is one I plan on keeping......Got the stock Steering wheels, Wheels and Hub Caps and a dash insert with the stock AM radio, Look for some upgrades....Stock other than Steering Wheel, Stereo, Wheels and Mufflers....

That is a sweet car.
I have an uncle that was into Buicks for years. Back in '69 or '70 he had three Wildcats at once. Those things would motorvate!

Water pump Bearings out, so I am switching it out....WHAT A PAIN IN THE A$$ GM made changing it.....DANG...and finding one....wow....My guys at KOI have a NEW one in stock...$45, while in there, I noticed the Belts and Lower Hose look really bad, might as well do those as well, again, NOBODY has Cruved units listed, only Flex.....I don't think so, I will call KOI in the AM, or Year One before I have to use gerneric flex....but if I do...I do......Also you have to take 1/2 the car apart to get it out, and I busted one of the smaller screws in, but with my oxy/Ace set, a little heat, and some small vice grips.....Out it came......Now....to put it back together......JW...OUT....

Next to my 69 Impala, 396, I like this as much, be a little under the weather the last 3 days, I did get the pump off, ordered new hoses, and hope to put back on tomorrow....Also installing the Stock Steering Wheel...so anybody need a old GM adapter, and Cal Custom Foam wheel.......but sometimes wish it was a 69 Impala...396 TH400....I miss that old boat......
Re: 1964 Buick Riveria 425 Loaded, PS, PB, AC, PW
how much u gotta have outta that old steering wheel and adapter?
need something different for my truck. seat is back as far as i can push it and my fat belly is still hiting the wheel. easier to change the wheel then what it would be for me to loose the weight

I wish I would have bought the one I ran into back in 81 that needed a motor,it was mint and they wanted 300 for it but to me back then that was alot of money for a non running car when I usually picked them up for under a hundred.

What was wrong with the wheels. for modern wheels I thought they looked pretty good.

Re: 1964 Buick Riveria 425 Loaded, PS, PB, AC, PW
They are ok...I want Chrome/Black stock wheels, with the Big R center caps.....Main reason I took them off, Friday I drove to lunch with a customer, on the way home, I heard a clicking sound, I slowed down, got in center lane to stop at Advanced to look at it and BAM....The Son of a female dog FELL OFF....in the middle of SR73.....the 1" spacer needed not to hit the ball joint came undone, and stayed on the wheel....no major damage other than my pride, and a small dent so OFF they come.......and the RUBBED REAL BAD!!!! No sharp turns at all....JWReb Stew wrote:What was wrong with the wheels. for modern wheels I thought they looked pretty good.
