damn racoons
have a mother and its babies wondering around in the yard and in my damn garbage can.
anyone have a good solution besides killing them to keep them from eating my plants and making a mess in the garbage.
tonight i shined a light into the faces and spoked them off but i'm not going to stand watch over the garbage can...
does the hotsauce and water solution work?

Re: damn racoons
Have-A-Heart trap, take them to the country, drop them off, I hunted them for 30 years, pelts used to bring 45-85 bucks each, kept me in car parts as a kid....I will see if I still have daddy's trap.....but in the urban areas, never end battle, between THEM and YOU....

They sell those traps at Harbor Freight Tools cheap. I have one, and am currently in the process of relocating a family of 'coons. Piece of cake.

I use a trap and honey-buns or sardines.
The little ones around here tear up some honey-buns!

I'm in the country. Does this mean I should trap the dang things and bring them to the city and turn them loose?
