Re: What was the first car you ever had?
62 impala SS Black on Black...Just like most of us...I wish I had it back today. Some of the stuff we pulled in that car. I walked a lot of corn Fields to make the money to get that car.$1800. I looked for a picture but sad to say I have not one! I guess I was to busy running after the girls and finding the bottom of those little brown bottles.

1999 Saturn SL. I spent two winters sideways every night pulling the e-brake delivering pizza and screwing around with my friends. I even strapped my dirtbike to the roof one weekend i wanted to go riding. I miss getting 40 mpg driving it about as hard as I could, but not much else.

Geez-------- I feel like the "old guy" on the block !
1950 OLDSMOBILE V8 Hydro tranny and 4 doors.
Had a ball with that car in high school.
Knocked a front spindle off of it so I tore it apart and put most of the "goodies" into a 1934 FORD Coupe.
Sold the FORD while I was in the NAVY and have regretted it ever since ;(

Re: What was the first car you ever had?
My first car I bought was a 76 Vega Wagon,,,bone stock. Never drove it though, well except around the yard. First real driver was a 1976 Dodge Aspen R/T. 318, auto on the floor. Got to drive it for maybe a month and a half before I got rearended by a drunk in a Maverick which shoved me up under my buddy's hacked up in the back 67 Chevelle. Till the day I die, I'll have a soft spot for Aspens and Volares.
Only picture I have.

Re: What was the first car you ever had?
My first car was a 1956 Chevrolet 150 with a 235 c.i.
and a three on the tree that I converted to the floor
with a Hurst floor shifter. I bought it from the original
owner in 1968 for the sum of $90. The only problem
was the rear quarter panel on the passenger side was
crumpled.
Since I purchased the '56 in the summer of 1968 I had
to wait till following year in high school to replace the
quarter with one I bought from S & S Auto Wrecking in
Sun Valley, Ca. for the grand total of $10, things were a
whole lot cheaper back then.
I never painted the car it still had the original Harbor Blue
paint on except for the primer and guide coat on the quarter.
I sold it just at the end of my junior year for $350 and a month
later I bought my first '57 Chevy for $300.
