I love the gettting together with family and sharing the spirit of the season but you know, it's really hard to find shop time with everything going on.

I AM really looking forward to my son coming home from Colorado and my daughter from Wisconsin even if it is only for Christmas. bounce cheers Just wish I could convince them to stay. Sad

Merry Christmas santa

Christmas time is my favorite time of the year. It's a shame your kids are so far away. My boy is running off to college next year and I'm freaking out. I'm trying to get him to go to a school that is close to us but he's not going for it. I guess you have to let them go at some point. It's hard though.

I'm really pretty lucky. Out of 8 kids only 1 went over to the dark side. Evil or Very Mad One was in the army and did 2 tours in Iraq but he's home know and works for the Forestry service here in TN, lives about 40 miles away. The one in Colorado was sent there by the Air Force and he fell in love with the place. If you ever been there it's easy to understand. The daughter in Wisconsin went there to go to college and made a life there she can't give up. Every winter she talks about moving home. Then the spring thaw comes and that all stops. Sad

The rest live close to me and now I am collecting grandchildren like you wouldn't believe. I expect to have 35 to 40 people at my house Saturday for the family Christmas party. Momma says if this keeps up next year we're renting a hall somewhere. lol!

Better then her saying that a cleaned out garage/shop would be a good place to get together.

It has been mentioned. I wouldn't go there though. It would take a warehouse to put all that crap in. Razz

Well the last of the family is gone home. Just got through helping Moma clean up. It was a little lighter than we expected. Only 29 people showed up. It's still a crowd in the house but a good time was had by all. I am really pretty lucky to have the family I have. cheers

Everything should be ready for Christmas Day. I'm going to try to get out to the garage and test out the instant dark hood my service guys gave me for Christmas. I'm working on replacing the rocker panels when I can get out there. bounce
