Another trip down in Kentucky

We went back down in Ky to look at some houses they have for sale. We took the kids this time to see what they thought. We drove the back roads most of the way there and back the next day. It was nice.

Some cars we seen that we didn't notice before.

Old train depot. The tracks are long gone but the depot,stables and filling stations are all still standing.

You don't see these everyday.

I like horses and Samantha is nuts over them. A little sweet talk and I had them to the fence.

Looks like things aren't so good at the Double Cola plant these days! Ever have a bottle of Ski? Almost as big as Ale8 down there. The Kentucky Headhunters even mention it in a song.

The pictures of the Castle in Lexington bring back some memories. When I was going down that way a lot the building was half finished and deserted. Then somebody bought and completed it just to have it burn down. Now it's a rebuilt as a bed and breakfast. I think that's how the story went. It's been a while....

PS..... is the Falcon for sale?

Amy tried some the first time we went down. They sell it at Krogers so I guess it's still around.

Not sure. Bible belt of Ky and everything is closed up on the weekends. Sunday's are like a ghost town.
