Randy called me and said the 40 for 40 will be April 10th....

Ok...enlighten me... what is the 40 for 40?

only 40 cars are allowed in.

club been invited numerous time before... alot went last year even i made that event

40 cars 40 bucks per car to get in the race. It's a closed track day that you can buy in if you are one of the first 40 cars.

i am going not schur what i am punting together yet..but someting telling set up the chevelle .and some NOS.

OK. I'm in for 2 cars. Definitely taking the Camaro & either the Z06 or the G6. Paid by Paypal today.

Talked to Sean Hass this afternoon. Seems like a cool guy.

This is going to be fun! It'll be the first time my wife or son get to take a car down the track.

Good thing about it Ken is with only 40 cars you get plenty of run time in and not just sitting inline to race....

I wanted to take Shelly's Monte also but then changed my mind cause im afraid if she drives it up there and i do run it im so afraid about breaking an axle and then have to worry about getting it home....i can get a set of after market axles for $250 and put in there by then and not half to worry about it.....so im back on for taking both cars...

Breakage - the reason I don't run any slicks. Can't cut a good 60, but they still drive home.

I'll have the drag radials on the Camaro & street tires on the Z06. The problem I have every time is that the wide street tires on the front drag water right up to the staging line & I'm trying to get off the line in water. I try to drive around the water box and back into it whenever it's possible, but I don't think you can do that at the Edge.

every time ive broke an axle is with street tires on it .not with slicks ..i here them after markets axles for the 7.5 not much better than the stockers.thats why i havent put n my monte...........................il have a spare axle with me for track day
