One More Nail In The Coffin @ GM
Gm is introducing the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic to replace the Aveo.
It will be available as a std 4-door or hatchback.
Two engines available: a 135 HP 1.8 4 cylinder and a 138 HP 1.4 4 cylinder. That's correct! You can select the turbo option with a mandatory manual tranny and gain a whopping 3 HP. What exactly are they thinking at that company? Who are they marketing their stuff too?
They don't make a single thing that I would even consider plopping my money down to buy. I even have $2K Gm dollars I can use to bring the price down in addition to any rebates, etc. If I were buying a new car, it would probably be a Ford Fusion I'd be shopping for. Or maybe even a Ford Focus RS. There's just nothing in the GM stable that excites me other than a ZR1 and I wouldn't spend that kind of money even if I hit the PowerBall jackpot.
