Gourmet Chili Empty Gourmet Chili

I had my very first experience at Gourmet Chili today for lunch. Honestly, I did not even know that this place existed. I thought that when my coworkers asked if I wanted to join them for lunch at "Gourmet Chili" they meant to say "Dixie Chili".

I believe that this exert from a review on www.insiderpages.com is a great representation of the experience. "The place looks like it's from the 50's and it's true, it was never updated and shows the wear and dirt built up from the years." Nothing like an old fashion "greasey spoon" to eat lunch. Laughing

My wife and I drive from Aurora Indiana to eat there atleast once a month , she likes the open face roast beef there and I like there awesome fries and burgers , real down to earth atmosphere , and reminds me of places like it when I was kid , sitting in a booth playing with hotwheels , putting money in the jukebox while waiting for some good food .

LOL where have you been Greg? Years ago before Steve died they had a spit that sit upright and they would cut the lamb meat off of as it spun around and it would just fall onto the grill. Killer Greek food. Most of us eat there regularly.
