springfeild car show and swapmeet

The Springfield Swap Meet & Car Show, I've been going to this place for 3 or 4 years now. A lot of older model car parts in here for sale. My parents come in here to sell antiques, that's how I found out about this place. If you plan on spending the day, bring your chairs along with some sort of shelter or gazebo and a cooler with refreshments and food if you can. The food vendors are over priced.

The Car Show is somewhat huge with 75 plus cars, depending on the weekend. Oh yes, there are quite a few Rat Rods. If we do not go here as a club, I will be going back this summer to help out my parents, if we don't have a scheduled club outing. Come early if you can! This place has been packed every time I've came here.


Entrance Gate Information
Show vehicles will enter the fairgrounds at the "Vendor Registration and Show Cars" entrance, (the first fairgrounds entrance off I-70 on Rt. 41). Look for the large, red gate identification banner at each entrance to make sure you are going to the correct gate.

Show Car Registration
$10.00
Covers show entry fees and entry for the vehicle's driver. Additional passengers only need to pay the $7.00 general admission event fee. (Children under 12 are free)

Gates open to Show Car vehicles Saturday and Sunday at 7:30A.M.
Show registration for judging closes once judging has begun. (Usually around 1:00P.M.) Show cars arriving after judging has begun will still
be able to park along with others within the show car field but may not be judged.

All vehicles entering the grounds through the vendor gate MUST peel backing off the window sticker and place on lower left of the windshield to be admitted. Registration closes at 6:00 P.M. and stickers cannot be purchased or picked up until the following morning after 6:00 A.M.!

Set Up Schedule for Vendor Spring Shows

Early Vendor set-up begins Thursday from 12:00 P.M. noon to 6:00 P.M.and after 6:00 A.M. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Springfield Swap Meet & Car Show is open to the general public from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Friday & Saturday, and from 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday. While setting up you must not leave your car parked unattended in someone else's vendor spot. All unattended vehicles will be towed!

Vendor Registration
The Vendor Registration tent will be open Thursday from 12:00 to 6:00 P.M., Friday and Saturday 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.and Sunday 6:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Day-of-show vendors will need to register during these hours to have a space assigned if available. Vendors are encouraged to pre register to ensure enough spaces are available for your items to be displayed. (No checks will be accepted for spaces at day of shows.)

Vendor Passes
Vendors receive (1) vehicle pass per vendor space. Extra passes are limited to (1) additional vehicle pass per vendor, and must be purchased at $30 each. Please make arrangements in advance for helpers to have window stickers before entering the grounds. If they arrive separately without a window sticker, they will have to enter at the general admission gate, and pay the admission fee. Since all vendors that cannot fit their vehicles on their vendor space have to park in general admission anyway it is recommended additional workers enter through the General Admission gate and park their vehicle to save time and confusion because vehicles without a vendor pass will not be able to enter the vendor gate.

Unoccupied Spaces
Any contracted space not occupied by 9:00 A.M. on Sunday will revert to Famous Auto Promotions. (No refunds)
In other words, if your not at your reserved space by 9:00A.M. on a Sunday, they will rent that space out to some one else.

Last spring there were 981 registered cars for sale in the Car Corral area. That's more than DOUBLE any other event in Ohio, and almost certainly more for-sale cars than any other collector car event in the Midwest.

Why? Because the buyers are there! If you have a specialty car, or daily driver, this is the place for you to bring and offer your vehicle for sale. Many buyers visit the show with plans on purchasing a vehicle of their dreams so don't disappoint them by sending them home empty handed.

At each event, they have a free on-site notary service all weekend long, and lots of cars, trucks, motorcycles and boats change hands. Take advantage of these thousands of potential buyers and have your vehicle shown in the Car Corral section.

Outdoor Spaces
$70 for 3 days (20' wide x 15' deep or limited 10‘ wide x 30’ deep

Indoor Spaces
$60 for 3 days (10' wide x 12' deep)

Product Tables
$20 ea. plus $20 deposit (Deposit refundable at end of show)

Electricity
$20 for the weekend (necessary for any use)

The show will be open rain or shine - No Refunds due to
weather conditions!

i always get there friday morning before the gates open, i might take some parts to sell this year

Steve Vickers!!!!! Thanks for the offer but go ahead and sell that cowl up at Springfield. The club's canopy is down here if you need it. It may get hot. I have mine in the basement too if you want to take both of them.
