Re: 1935 Chevrolet Master Delux 2 door Trunkless
Real cool I like that body style, gotta loose the JEEP WRANGLER/LIL' JOHN BUTTERA GAMBLER RIP-OFF RIMS with the quickness(SORRY JUST NEVER a FAn OF those rims), but love that body style. There used to be a BLACK one down here in KY that ran CHROME REVERSE wheels minus the baby moons and spider caps and it look the part real well., CONGRATS COOL CAR!

That thing must not have been on the street in a while. Those rims go back a ways. They're kinda cool. I haven't seen any of those in like forever.

Nope. I have a Pro Ram. That is an older one with the filler tube in it. It looks good on there. I'd leave it if it can take the fuel.falconwagon62 wrote:RebStew wrote:You should loose that intake too. I know a guy that will take it off your hands down here in Newport.

Re: 1935 Chevrolet Master Delux 2 door Trunkless
Need to lose the motor and install a nasty inline 6,a 302 GMC and a 5 speed would be killer and I know where a couple are. I dont want to hear any whining about the cost as I know you have enough stuff you can sell to build it,was hunting for one to put in the 37 but could not find any but as soon as I got it on the road two popped up and I think they are still there but then there is the 261 which is the big brother to the 235. I did not know about the 261 either untill I was done with the truck so it would of been nice to have a computer when I was building it,if I get another pre 48 chevy it will have a 302 jimmy but I dont think it will ever happen due to all the other stuff I have plus I want a 40 ford and it would take priority over a Chevy unless it was free or close to it.

Re: 1935 Chevrolet Master Delux 2 door Trunkless
I got thinking and I doubt a 302 jimmy would fit easily in the 35 due to them being a little longer then the stovebolt sixes,on the 36 and earlier the radiators cant be moved forward much. I would still love to get a 33/34 chevy 3 window coupe and build it in a 50s hotrod style with a mean six but they are harder to find then a 40 due to all the wood in them and if you are not too familar with those pre 37 Chevys they are loaded with wood and its not as good of grade as was put in the Fords. Thats why there are more Fords of that era then Chevys due to the wood rotting and falling apart so they got junked, hope it has good wood.

Re: 1935 Chevrolet Master Delux 2 door Trunkless
Took the 35 to have all 4 the Power Windows in, also a V-butted windsheild, going to start toying with it between all the others...I want to drive it to the Pumpkin Run...
