What we found

Kenny and I went on a little junkyard run/search. Covered quite a bit of Kentucky backroads. All 3 of my secret stash junkyards that not many people knew about were gone....empty......zilch!! I was very disappointed. It made me a little depressed. I hadn't been to any of them in a long time, but every single car gone! It sucks. Kenny says it is the result of how high the scrap price got awhile back. Bad news for a hot rodder. Did see a few rotting hulks along the backroads.....and Kenny did meet and fall in love with a hillbilly girlfriend. Dave

Some of my places are gone too because of the high scrap prices and thanks to the state for poking at the old yard about every little thing they could. It's a shame.

Yea, I didn't even think about the state. Your right. One of the ones we went too, I knew the old man pretty good. He always had the state or the EPA on him about one thing or another. He would say screw 'em and do just enough to keep from getting shut down. He was a mean SOB, so I'm sure their inspectors had their hands full with him.

i told his buddy id give em 10 bucks 4 the turbo mufflers hanging off it
