Good way to hijack a thread and a potential sell dude?? Maybe you should sell it in another thread so you don't step on anyone's toes.40standard wrote:I got one out of a 66 Chevelle $50.00
Re: Saginaw 3 speed trans. SOLD
I think both are too new for what is needed but will pass on the info,he needs the non syncronized first gear trans.

yes, you are right. how many threads wind up this way,
Not many in the for sale section because the members we have don't step on each other feet to try to sell stuff. It's just not what we do. If you had a 350 Chevy engine for sale for $500.00 and someone ask about it and then I posted on your thread that I have the same thing for $250.00 you wouldn't like it. Some of our club forum is open to the public to give a look at what we are into and what going on in the hot rod world as well as hanging out and meeting new like minded people. But the the forum is a club forum and we choose to let people in on what going on. When outsiders step beyond what they should it's not accepted. I wondered about you after you had words with Jonathan Ruthledge on here. I would never get on some elses club forum and call out someone like you did. Jonathan is a friend and there have been many members that have done deals with him and he's a stand up guy. I've never heard any bad remarks about JunkyardJunky untill you brought it up on here. Which was not cool. That could have been done through PM's if you had a problem. We are a close group and good friends that are on here and we don't stick the screws to someone when they are selling stuff. It's just bad form and we will leave it at that.

Re: Saginaw 3 speed trans. SOLD
Jeff I'm not 100% sure but pretty sure 66 and up 3 speeds was the same so he'd need a 65 and down trans. Some of these others guys may know for sure but I think it's 66 when they changed. Is he a factory kind of guy? I don't know why anyone would want one. The 61 was like that and it was nuts. It took me a week to not shove it into first gear when I was rolling to a stop. You have to be stopped all the way before getting it back in first.junkyardjeff wrote:Whats it out of,I know someone looking for a 3 speed for a 55 chevy p/u which should be the same up to 66 or late 50s car
