Scroungers Rt. 32 Cruise. May 30th

There are 2 UDF's in Wilder. Please specify. I would assume your speaking of the one right next to 275 on the AA and not the one on the corner of 9& Mock Rd.

The one closest to Newport. That way we don't get split up at the lights coming from off the hill at the other one and also the light getting on the ramp. Easier to keep everyone together coming from the UDF closest to Newport.

I can't make May 30th. Friends from Omaha are going to be at Muncie Dragway for the Nostalgia Meet that weekend. Looks like fun but the racetrack is calling mine and Madonna's name. She's supposed to get a ride in the Hemi that weekend. She's looking forward to a wheel standing ride at about 9:20 and 150 MPH, she rode with him a few years ago but not all out. You'll have to meet up with Jeff that weekend.

I have one of those old gas pumps in my brothers basement people actually buy those? Are they worth anything? Mine is the kind that has the globe on the top...

Nope, no body collects those. That's just a rare occurence that you saw those in the picture. They're worthless! When should I come pick that up for you and haul it away. There's no sense in your brother wasting spce with junk like that.

(My neighbor has an old restored pump in his living room and a couple of unrestored ones in his garage.)

I was lookin foward to goin because I wanted to find an old gas pump to put out front of my garage. But its crunch time for me with my wedding only a few weeks away. We still have a lot to pay for. I will try to make the Cruise if I can.

On the way back we are going to stop and eat at Gold Star in West Union. They're giving us a Scroungers food discount.

I drove out there yesterday to make sure I could find this place. From the I-275 Rt.32 exit it takes 1 hour to get there. So it's not too far away. There is plenty of parking. On the way back just a few miles down the road is a gas station to refill and a Gold Star. The Gold Star was kind enough to give us a discount on our food so we will be stopping there for some grub. If you are not into Gold Star there is a McDonalds across the street. I ask them about a discount and you would have thought I slapped the lady. She looked at me a huffed "WE DON"T HAVE A DISCOUNT BUTTON ON OUR REGISTER" But it's there if you don't like chili. This is going to be a fun run if you guys can make it meet us at one of the stops. UDF In Wilder, Ky Licking Pike & Moock Road or the McDonalds on 32 right off of the I-275 exit. These types of runs do not happen too much. Put you lawn chair in your trunk for a change and drive your car some place.

Thanks John for coming and dragging the other guys with you. Vicki it was good seeing you again. John anytime you want to pledge I'll personally vouch for ya. Thing is we have a very active club. I try to stay in contact with other clubs to promote what we are doing and try to figure out what they are doing. We had guys from 3 other clubs running in the pack. The club is not what makes the fun times it's the people. If we could get the clubs together to do runs like this all the time it would be awsome!
I had a blast going down there. The ride home was better than 32. We run off the mountain and down through the country to the river and crossed into Maysville, Ky and then down RT. 8, Ky's river road. Lots of old iron and the views were killer. We never ran into rain but seemed like we wasn't far behind a few times with the wet roads. I think some of the guys behind us may have been thinking I lost my nerve on the back roads but with my kids in the car and cheater slicks on the back I wasn't going to break any land speed records on the wet ground. Cheater tires and water?
