I have a 1949 Ford F1, just curious what it might be pushing as far as HP. It has a 390 big block ford (i know i know), rebuilt engine 100 miles ago (not 100 percent sure of what parts were used, which would make this an easier question) I know it has alum dish pistons speed pro, and a crane cam with I THINK he said a 505 lift?? If not its something close to that. It does have the factory heads that have been ported and polished, stock bore motor factory intake (you got me) with a holly double pumper that is new. I know this is a guessing game, but i know nothing about Ford engines just curious on some thoughts. The guy I got it from said it has over 400 but I dont have any clues. Thanks in advance!! nice!! I was way off!!! I was thinking I dunno like 280 stock back then haha. But i was thinking 385- 400 hp as well. This truck cant weight more than 1450 lbs, so it feels like it has 800hp haha
