i always figured I had the balls to do just about anything. I was looking at that pic at your garage. I'm not too sure I'd get on that thing. I like speed but man that thing looks scrary. what was the best time the bike ever ran?

Was that the year they had the problems over there? I can't remember if they ran the fuel bikes after that.

We were slow out of the gate 01/02/ and actually the first time we made a full pass with out John blowing the thing to hell was Indy 03 when we won. Then we went on to win several mor including Indy again the following year...Then things went crazy with the owner still not sure what happened there, drivers changed bikes were removed from the team..Steve not sure what the best time was I know we were in the 6's at just over 200mph When your on the crew there is never a time when you are done, so I never really got to see a whole lot of races which is good cause that means your moving onto the next round.

that is getting it. funny thing is some have no idea of how fast that is on a bike. in a blink of an eye it could get hairy. I don't see how these guys could react fast enough to correct something if it gets away from them.

The guys that ride those things really know how to throw there body around to act as a wind brake/rutter to steer slow or speed these things up. I've seen 2 guys die doing it, one the drive chain broke(before I knew what Nitor HArley's were) and the other fellow in Rockingham N.C. the top end blew and the concusion bruised his heart and killed him intstantly..They are basically just rolling time bombs if its gonna blow but when....If you ever get a chance to go to an AHDRA or PRo STAR Race do it.. Its mind blowing..
