78 CJ7 with the 304 V8 and three speed trans. 4x4 works good. Doesn't smoke. I always wanted one but found out it not my cup of tea. Installed offroad springs which lifetd the jeep. Previous owner didn't like it sitting high so he took twoo leafs out in the back and one in the front. Tires are like new. Needs a new speedo gear in the transfer case. Comes with a new bikini top. Frame has absolutely no rust. Just under the driver's side door on the tub there is a little bondo. Body is fairly solid. $4000. Located in glasgow,ky

Man, my wife would love that, she wants one so bad.
We had a 79 CJ5 with 304/3 spd and loved it.

CJ7 is a little bit bigger from what I can tell. I think it has a small cam in it. Sounds pretty good idling.
