I've been looking at 429/460 intakes on Ebay. I know nothing about Ford stuff. someone was saying something about round port intakes at Jeffs. on a Big Block Chevy you have oval and square port intakes. are 460's the same way? what is on this late model engine we pulled out of Jeffs wagon. I may buy an intake for the gasser if I know I'm getting the right thing. there is one for 25 bucks right now.

The only thing I've ever had was an FE motor that was modified to run. These 429/460 motors are newer. The small blocks I've had weren't hot rodded, once you've had a good big block, it's hard to use a small block for anything but transportation. Does Vic have a help line or a customer service number to call, or do they even have head/intakes for 460s? Surely someone there could shed some light. What about the Big Dog? Does he know anything about these things?

I think all have the same ports except for the SCJ and maybe a police intercepter which I think is the same as a SCJ,since its a late 70s motor I dont think you have anything to worry about. Jeff
