I've decided to build my old ford sedan after being for sale for a while. Things are slowing down a little. I've started collecting parts for. it. Plan on doing the typical sbc with an auto trans. Swapping out the rear end and leaf springs. I've done some research and Posies looks to have the best parallel leaf spring kit for these cars. The rear end measures 62 inches wide. When I ordered wheels for my catalina several years ago, I accidently ordered the wrong bolt paatern. Wound up getting the small chevy bolt pattern. Got a call from a guy I use to work with at the junkyard. He'd been off from work this week after hurting his back and wanted to sell a short shaft turbo 350. It doesn't shift like it should but it only cost me $75. I may go looking for a rear end. I'm thinking a late model camaro may work.
