Going on this week/weekend, I didn't see any post on this but have been seeing the hot rods drive in to the fairgrounds in Louisville each day I pass.

You can also check out that sweet '77 AMC Spirit that is now allowed INSIDE THE SHOW. Ugh.

I share some of the same feelings on this. It sure was nice to go and look at a sea of old tin! .....But when you go to a show like this look around at the average age of the owner's. You will see a lot more personal scooters and wheel chairs. I think they had to do this to keep the hobby going for the younger generation. They cant afford to get into the older cars. They build/drive what they can.
I have had a lot of friend not go to any NSRA shows for this reason. There is the Frog Follies in Evansville Indiana it's a nice show for your old tin. I have been to this show a lot...Hands down one of my favorite shows for the family! Great swap meet its the last weekend in August..check it out.

A good portion od that "old tin" is new plastic.

Just go have fun and look at what you want to see and skip the others. They have soooo many cars you can't begin to see them all anyway.

But get a picture of that Pacer for the Blue Eyed Devil! LOL

Who said anything about Pacers?? I mean we are talking NSRA here. If you want to impress the lawn chair jockeys, you better step up. The Spirit is a FAR superior automobile!

It was a lot nicer to only have to skip over cars that were still pre-'48. Yeah it's big, but thats the problem. You have all this late model garbage in there now that just thins the good stuff even more. Not even worth going...
