Robert going to keep working on his 65 Stang...I will sell this to a club member for $3400 with the slot wheels, or 3200.00 with the Classic Star wheels.....
Re: 1960 Falcon 2 door sedan 6cly, Auto, PB
prior owner somewhere put a patch on the DS floor, must have done a poopie job, it rusted out!, good news it didn't take 5 minutes to knock off the 7 welds they did, re wizz wheel out and sand it for my patch..Also installed a rebuilt carb, and added the proper air cleaner......then, the rain moved in...will finish it tomorrow, mama and I are off for some Generals Tao's Chicken......

What do you think of a straight axel install on the little guy.....Not 6 feet in the air, but up a bit....
Re: 1960 Falcon 2 door sedan 6cly, Auto, PB
Well.......you know the straight axle will beg for a V8 and then one thing will just lead to another.

True, but if it's sitting over a straight axle it should probably look like this...

"Rat Trap" With a big picture of a Bow Tie with a rat tail hanging off it stuck in a mouse trap. That would be a kick to the Chevy boys.falconwagon62 wrote:..gotta figure out a kool name or some door art....g[/img]

Not with a six cylinder it won't be. Better walk the walk if you're gonna talk the talk...

I dig the double entendre (look it up) Vicki Nova's prior married name was Rattliff!!! so I kinda like "rat trap" I got my straight axle with brakes now, just have to buy some springs/hangers and steering stuff....pulling the rear end out this week and getting that all done.....

It needs a V8 if it's a gasser.

Yep. Or one NASTY six cylinder (my vote actually). Three pedals too. That's why I posted the altered drag car earlier. An axle under a stock six with an automatic is like a stuffed bra. It might look ok from the outside, but when it's time to get down to business it's just a letdown...
