Post by gemnewt May 9th 2012, 9:07 pm

Hello everyone
I'm new here well relatively new, This would be my first post even though I registered
back in 2010. My computer developed a bad virus and when my computer was rebooted all my contacts and bookmarks were wiped out, so I totally forgot that I had registered at this site until now.
My question is how do I upload pics when every time I click on the upload pic button I get this "You cannot upload any photos to the gallery because the storage limit has been reached". I know I haven't reached a limit because I don't have any albums, or does this mean that Scroungers gallery is full?
I have a 1951 Chevy Tin Woodie Wagon which I plan to restore and I just wanted everyone to see it.
And if anyone had any comments or suggestions I would love to hear them.
Thanks in advance

Reb, help this fellow out. Somewhere on here Riggs had some directions on how to post w/o the use of another photo account. I think I see that old wagon now, it's a dark green that's been faded by the desert sun over the years. There's small hub caps on steel rims with a set of radars in the cargo compartment with black wall tires mounted on them waiting to be installed. The interior was worn cloth covered seats with Indian blankets over them. The old six cylinder has been pulled and after some work, a Cleveland 351 affraid has been installed. Wow, maybe that's the wrong vision and pictures should be in order. lol!

You have yo use the "Host an image" button and the "Image" buttons.

Ease your mouse over the buttons at the top of the message window. You'll find them.

THE SIXTH BUTTON FROM THE RIGHT IS THE HOST AND THEN THE NEXT BUTTON IS THE IMAGE BUTTON. YOU HAVE TO USE BOTH OF THOSE IN THAT ORDER ACCORDING TO RIGGS' INSTRUCTIONS. EITHER THAT OR GET A PHOTOBUCKET ACCOUNT. IT TAKES A LITTLE PRACTICE BUT GIVE IT A TRY, YOU CAN'T HURT TOO MUCH AND THESE GUYS WILL LOOK AT ANYTHING!

Here is Riggs post;

another HOW TO POST PHOTOS
by JRiggs on Tue 28 Feb 2012, 11:57 pm

.its rather easy to upload a picture via the quick reply..

1st step is to look above here where your typing and youll see 12 buttons you can use: bold, italics, underline, quote, code and then the next 2 you will be using.
Host and image tab and the Image tab. they are right next to each other.

1st step:

Click the host an image button
A box will appear
click browse and search for your picture that your uploading
once you have found your picture click the open button
then your back to the image upload box
click on the host it button in the middle of the box
youll see another box appear
go to the third section and itll say image url click the copy button next to it or highlight all and right click copy......

2nd step:
go to the insert image button a small box will open up
right click paste then hit ok
your image code will be in the blue box and bam your done......

ive found it easier to use then back n forth thru photobucket. .

It is easy but at least on both my work and home computer it takes a minute to upload so be patient. Sleep
