46th Annual KYANA Spring Swap Meet

My father and I typically attend this event, but he has a broken foot and is unable to attend. Therefore, if I decide to go without him, I will have extra seats available if anyone is interested in riding along.

Some of us are going down there. I'll be there for sure. Hopefully I'll catch up to you.

Just cause they look at you funny when you say you are from Ky shouldn't bother you. lol

If someone is up in the air about this swap meet you should GO! It is HUGE! All inside.

Its been a few years since I was down there,if anyone up here goes and can share gas costs I might go but I doubt I will be going.

Not sure what everyone wants to do and I'm tired of asking so Amy and I are leaving the house at 9a.m. If anyone want to follow us down and or stop and get breakfast let me know.

Too much to do around here and I have to go to Toledo this weekend to pick up a correct step bumper for the 66.

We will be eating breakfast at Waffle House in Wilder,Ky in the morning around 8 or 8:30 am if ya want to go be there or be...... Should be taking off to the swap meet from there around 9

We got a new windshield for the 54 Chevy truck. Even though it looks like the earlier trucks 49, 50, 51 ect the 54 is different. It has a one piece wrap around windshield instead of the flat two piece glass in the earlier ones.

A 1954 Clay Co, Ky tag. Clay County is where all my family settled after coming over the Virginia Mountains off the ship from Irland. Clay Co is deep rooted with my family blood going back over 200 years ago.

A 1927 Hardin Co, Ky tag for Amy's 27. The tags are in really good shape compared to others I have found.

A headlight bezel for the 54 truck.

A set of 52 to 54 Ford headlight bezels. One is missing the chome ring but I'm hoping I can find one. These are great for frenching or tunneling headlights on a custom. The bezels are different. One is smooth and the other has a raised spot for the bodyline that goes on the fender. A little hammer and dolly work and they will be the same.

Last was a gal of paint. Not sure what it will go on yet but it was a good deal and I figured I'd give it a shot.

I just got back from picking up the step bumper.

I had a great time!! I think we will go just a little later next year..
