62800 miles on stock 216 engine and 3 speed trans. Run good. You get the complete engine with everything as you see it in the bay. Voltage reg, 6 volt battery, radiator, all the hoses, battery cables, ect ect. Swapping in a v8 so everything goes. I'm in Northern Kentucky, 41071. 859-261-2592 or PM me here. I don't have the space to store it or I'd keep it in stock for a project down the road. Price is $350.00 firm or trade for hot rod parts. Carb could use a rebuild but runs. Radiator has a pin hole in it but it's not pouring. It's worth repairing. This is not a bunch of junk. I drove the car on a 6 hour road trip the first week I had it. It ran fine down and back. This was my daily driver for a while. I'm just ready for a V8 with all the highway miles I run. The trans works good and the clutch is good. No slippage at all. Drop it in and go! I started taking it out tonight. It should be on the floor and ready for pickup by 8-10-2011.

What is the gear ratio in that jalopy? And, would you be interested in getting rid of the torque tube rear end too?

And, how much oil did that motor use, if any? I know it smoke alittle, they all did, but how much oil did it use?

To tell you the truth I have no idea. I would check it from time to time and have to add some. How many miles before a quart I have no idea. If I remember right it used less than a quart when I ran down to Olive Hill and ran around that weekend. It didn't go through oil like a rough engine. It's a pretty decent ol engine.

410 gear in the back but I have plans for axle tubes unless you need it bad.

I already have a good 4:10 gear ratio in my jalopy, so swapping rear ends wouldn't benefit me.

To get a better gear ratio, You'll have to find a rear end out of a powerglide car. I'm thinking they are 3:55

There is a powerglide rear end out of the car at starks,I pulled the cover and counted the teeth and was thinking on using the gears but went with the 8 inch.

For your information, per the Chevrolet Shop Manual, the cover on the motor behind the exhaust pipe is the oil distributor cover and covers the oil pump assembly.

If you cant sell it I will give you a couple cases of your favorite beverages for it,been thinking about trying to convert one to insert bearings and full pressure oiling and if I screw it up dont want to have thrown away too much money.
