Good Afternoon,

My name is Phil Reed, Director of Sales for Meguiar’s. I pulled your contact information from a local car club listing posted on the internet. It appears that your car club is located near Oak Grove, KY, where are hosting an exciting event in September.

The purpose of my note today is to share with you an event that we are holding at the Walmart Supercenter in Oak Grove, KY on Saturday, September 17th from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. It is our 2nd Time to Shine Event in 2011 and it promises to be a great time. We are hoping that you and any interested members from your car club will come down and display your car and share in the exciting time. Please feel free to share this note and flyer with anyone that you think would like to experience this event.

We are planning on an exciting Car Guy Event, including, Barry Meguiar, the host of Car Crazy TV who will be on hand signing autographs, taking pictures and sharing stories. The Meguiar’s Big Rig will be on display, and our team of Surface Care Specialists will be there providing Meguiar’s goodie bags, limited edition T-Shirts and lapel pins to the 1st 150 car show entrants. We will be awarding four separate People’s Choice Awards for Best of Show, Best Engine, Best Paint and Best Interior. There is no fee to participate in the Time to Shine Event!

Isn't this near Ft. Campbell, Ky. Almost 300 miles away, I believe. I was stationed there for a bit and remember this city. I could be wrong..

I'll be at Undun in Lexington, Barry Meguiar needs to show up there and show those guys how to make their rusty /patinaed hot rods shine.
