1990 Z71 Stepside- SHARP, JUST NEEDS A MOTOR!

Sharp blue 1990 Z71 Sportside. 350/auto/ 4X4. Regular cab, nice interior, CD player. Has a set of 15X10 solid aluminum wheels and 33X12.50 BFG all terrain tires that still have a little life in them. New front brakes, GM Accessories soft tonneau cover, hitches, good solid dual exhaust.. 256,xxx miles.

The motor locked up today. The truck has been very dependable for the four years I've owned it, so it was sort of a surprise. I would just build another engine for it, but I was already looking for a truck with more room for the kids.

I have located another (used) engine for it for $350, complete from TBI to pan. Once the weather breaks and I find time, I'll swap the engines and go ahead and sell it that way. Until then, I'm looking for $1800 obo for it. I will still consider selling afterwards.

The heads and intake/ TBI should be fine, which means you should be able to use any SBC shortblock, even earlier than 87 models.

A buddy has come through for a motor, fresh 350 with a warm cam, fresh worked 305 Vortec heads. I'm liable to like it so much I want to keep it!

Same name there as here. I try to be a good guy and do things for people over there, since it was my fault that that one person signed up. Although all the people over there love her for some reason.

Between losing the motor in the truck and there being about an 80% chance that I'll be in the middle of moving to Alabama for a couple of years worth of job training, my Beatersville dreams have gone out the window!
